Non-Traditional Percussion

Seventh graders can take a nine-week exploration into the world of percussion that uses both instruments and non-instruments for making music. Recently, the seventh grade non-traditional percussion group performed on chairs at the opening Flat Rock pep rally.
Just as every musician is different, every nine-weeks will have different variations of performance abilities and opportunities. Students contribute greatly to the creative ideas that are what makes non-traditional percussion so much fun! It is as much about amazing musicianship as it is about personal contribution and working together to make a seamless performance... much like this one on the chairs!
